Строительство Домского собора и монастыря началось в 1211 году и продолжалось несколько веков. Окончательно свои барочные очертания 90-метровая башня приобрела в 1766 г. В соборе находится орган - один из крупнейших в мире. Он был построен в 80-е годы XIX века. Специальные произведения для органа Домского собора писал Ференц Лист.
